Приветствую друзья! Изначально я запланировал сделать очередной тематический баннер на страницу Фэйсбука ибо давно уже не обновлял, но в конечном итоге работа переросла в полноценную фотосессию на тему путешествий, истории, исследований и  около того:).

Greetings to all friends! Initially, I planned to make another thematic banner on the Facebook page because I had not updated it for a long time, but in process the work this start grew into a full photo session by fountain pen, travel, history, research and so on :).

На сопроводительные эскизы меня натолкнула знаменитая энциклопедия Альфред Брем “Жизнь животных”. «Иллюстрированная жизнь животных» (Illustrirtes Thierleben) — научно-популярная книга, впервые изданная немецким зоологом и путешественником А. Э. Бремом (1829—1884). Отличается основательностью содержания и живым, увлекательным изложением. Как внештатный автор, Альфред Брем отправлял в научно-популярные журналы свои эссе и рассказы о путешествиях. Его попытки увенчались успехом в 1860 году, когда ему было поручено написать десятитомную зоологическую энциклопедию. Первые шесть томов энциклопедии, опубликованные под названием «Illustrirtes Thierleben» («Иллюстрированная жизнь животных»), вышли с 1863 по 1869 года. Они были опубликованы Библиографическим институтом при Херрманне Юлиусе Майере. Иллюстрированы под руководством Роберта Кречмера (1818—1872).

On the accompanying sketches I was inspired by the famous encyclopedia Alfred Brehm “Animal Life”. Illustrirtes Thierleben is a popular science book first published by the German zoologist and traveler A.E. Brehm (1829-1884). Differs in thoroughness of content and lively, captivating presentation. As a freelance writer, Alfred Brehm submitted essays and travel stories to popular science magazines. His attempts were crowned with success in 1860, when he was commissioned to write a ten-volume zoological encyclopedia. The first six volumes of the encyclopedia, published under the title Illustrirtes Thierleben (Illustrated Animal Life), were published from 1863 to 1869. They were published by the Bibliographic Institute under Herrmann Julius Mayer. Illustrated under the direction of Robert Kretschmer (1818-1872).

Альфред Эдмунд Брем (Alfred Edmund Brehm) — немецкий учёный-зоолог и путешественник, автор знаменитой научно-популярной работы «Brehms Tierleben» («Жизнь животных»). Странствия Альфреда Брэма начались в 17-летнем возрасте с предложения барона Мюллераruen в 1847 году отправиться в путешествие по Африке в верховья Нила. После пятилетних странствований по Египту, Нубии и Восточному Судану, он вернулся в Германию и изучал в Йене и Вене естественные науки. Печатал орнитологические очерки в журналах и был одним из основателей Немецкого орнитологического общества. Второе путешествие привело его в Испанию, третье в Норвегию и Лапландию и в 1862 году четвёртое — в северную Абиссинию.

Alfred Edmund Brehm is a German zoologist and traveler, author of the famous popular science work “Brehms Tierleben” (“Animal Life”). Alfred Bram’s discovering began at the age of 17 with the offer of Baron Müllerruen in 1847 to travel across Africa to the upper Nile. After traveling for five years in Egypt, Nubia and East Sudan, he returned to Germany and studied natural sciences in Jena and Vienna. He published ornithological essays in magazines and was one of the founders of the German Ornithological Society. The second journey took him to Spain, the third to Norway and Lapland, and in 1862 the fourth to northern Abyssinia.

Роберт Кречмер (Robert Kretschmer)— немецкий художник и иллюстратор польского происхождения. Учился в Берлинской академии художеств, в начале 1849 года был художественным руководителем газеты de:Illustrirte Zeitung в Лейпциге и поступил в 1857 году там же в литографический институт И. Г. Баха. Он всё больше и больше обращался к изучению фауны и флоры, сопровождал в 1862 году герцога Саксен-Кобург-Гота Эрнста II в Египет, проиллюстрировал его туристическое произведение (Лейпциг, 1861), также снабжал рисунками научные книги и журналы. Его главным произведением считаются выполненные иллюстрации к книге Альфреда Брема «Жизнь животных», в которой он поднял естественнонаучную иллюстрацию на более высокую ступень.

Robert Kretschmer is a German artist and illustrator of Polish origin. He studied at the Berlin Academy of Arts, at the beginning of 1849 he was the artistic director of the newspaper de: Illustrirte Zeitung in Leipzig and entered the lithographic institute of J. G. Bach in 1857 there. He turned more and more to the study of fauna and flora, accompanied Ernst II, Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, to Egypt in 1862, illustrated his tourist work (Leipzig, 1861), and also supplied scientific books and magazines with drawings. His main work is considered to be the completed illustrations for the book of Alfred Brehm “The Life of Animals”, in which he raised natural science illustration to a higher level.

Собственно сопроводительные эскизы для фотосессии. Изначально я планировал их зарисовать в блокноте, а потом вырвать и дополнить композицию в виде отдельных листочков, но потом передумал, потому как это сильно перегрузит композицию и будет не оправданно.

Actually accompanying sketches for the photosession. Initially, I planned to sketch them in a notebook, and then tear them out and supplement the composition in the form of separate leaves, but then I changed my mind, because this would greatly overload the composition and would not be artistic.

На это м как бы все:) Пока, пока! Ах да, забыл, кто-нибудь может мне посоветовать недорогую записную книжку в винтажном стиле, в кожаном или подобном переплете для подобных фотосессий? Конечно хорошо если в ней будут натурально белые или светлобежевые листы которые будут дружить с чернильными ручками и чернилами, хотя это и не принципиально:)

That’s all 🙂 Bye, bye! Oh yeah, I forgot, can anyone sugested me an inexpensive, vintage-style, leather-bound or similar notebook for like this photosession? Of course, it’s good if it contains naturally white or light beige sheets that will be friends with fountain pens and inks, but this is not important :).
