Але, як завжди, десь щось пішло не так і вони виявились не такими зручними як мало би бути.

But, as always, something went wrong somewhere, and they turned out to be not as comfortable as they should have been.

Це більше схоже на дітячу погремуху ніж на корисну річ: пробірки бовтаються як завгодно у боксі і це часто заважає щільно закрити кришку; як що ти тримаєш бокс у руці то закрити кришку другою рукою майже неможливо.

It’s more like a children rattle than a useful thing: the vials dangle around in the box and this often prevents from closing the lid tightly; when I hold the box in one hand, it’s almost impossible to close the lid by another one.

От чому китайці одразу не можуть зробити якісно та продумано? Оці ребра жорсткості і закороткі, і замалі щоб взагалі щось тримати. Неозброєним оком видно наскільки діаметр пробірки менше за розміром вільного простору.

Why the Chinese can’t do it right and useful from the box, with quality and thought? These stiffeners are both too short and too small to hold anything at all. With the naked eye, you can see how much the diameter of the test tube is smaller than the size of the free space.

Коротше, мучився я мучився, а потім вирішив вдосконалити дизайн і спроєктував тонку проставку для поліпшення конструкції. Це не щось складне чи незвичайне, це дуже проста та очевидна річ.

So, I struggled and struggled, and then I decided to improve this design and modeled a thin spacer to improve this construction. This is not something complicated or unusual, it is a very simple and obvious thing.

Поміряв всі свої пробірки від різних виробників і вони мають діаметр від 15.2 до 15.8 мм, та лише одна має діаметр 16.4 мм. Тож я вирішив зробити отвір 16 мм якого буде достатньо для пробірки та наліпки із підписом.

I measured all my vials from different manufacturers/sellers, and they have a diameter of 15.2 to 15.8 mm, and only one has a diameter of 16.4 mm. So I decided to make a 16 mm hole which would be enough for the samples with info sticker.

Вийшло просто ідеально! От чому не можна було одразу так зробити, нехай вони коштували би на 1-2$ більше?

It turned out just perfect! So, why couldn’t they have done it right away, even if they cost $1-2 more?

Звісно можна було б підібрати матеріал за коліром та прозорістю, але у мене не було іншого матеріалу і я не настільки перфекціоніст))

Of course, it could choose the material by color and transparency, but I didn’t have any other material now, and I’m not that much of a perfectionist))
