Hello friends! Despite the difficulties and obstacles, I am trying to move further and want to present the next step of the Grandeur model. It was planned almost a year ago, but it didn’t work out as planned, but at the end it worked out, so that’s good)): 

Привіт друзі! Незважаючи на труднощі та перешкоди я намагаюсь робити наступні кроки і хочу представити подальший розвиток моделі Grandeur. Майже рік тому я планував створення цієї моделі, але вийшло лише зараз.

Andrew Lensky “Grandeur Visio” Ivory – ebonite/polyester oversized fountain pen w|Bock #8 sized nib and Pilot Con-70 converter (handmade in Ukraine)

Не буду робити повний опис оскільки ця модель майже повністю повторює дизайн AL Grandeur, за відмінністю того що цей корпус має оглядове віконце для контролю за коліром та наявністю чорнила без розкручування корпусу. І ще я не планую робити цю модель в варіанті із конвертером Schmidt K6, лише із Pilot Con-70.

I won’t give a full description because this model almost completely repeats the design of the AL Grandeur, except that this body has a viewing ink window for checking presence and color without unscrewing the body. And I don’t plan to make this model in version with Schmidt K6 converter, only with the Pilot Con-70.

Мені дуже подобається вишуканість текстури цього матеріалу яка нагадує слонову кістку, що додає елегантності вигляду.

I really like the sophistication of the texture of this material, which resembles ivory, which adds elegance to the look.

Перо: Одно із самих крупних сучасних фабричних пер, 8 розміру, із нержавіючої сталі. Ординарно жорстке та гладке, виробництва Bock. Перо повністю гладке, без жодних візерунків, має лише логотип Bock у схованій частині. Перо розташовано із ебонітовим фідером у пластиковому стакані і разом є стандартним перовим вузлом під номером 380.

The nib: One of the largest modern factory nibs, 8 sized, made of stainless steel. Ordinary hard and smooth, manufactured by Bock. The nib is completely clean, without any patterns, has only the Bock logo in the hidden tail part. The nib is mounted on friction in collar with ebonite feed and called as 380 nib unit.

Доступ до кнопки конвертера здійснюється за допомогою малого ковпачка наприкінці корпусу.

The converter filling button can be accessed via blind cap at the end of body.

Overall tool dimensions: folded length is – 147 mm, without cap – 137 mm. The diameter of the body is – 18 mm, at the grip – 13.4 mm. The weight of folded tool is – 37.3 g (include Pilot Con-70 converter), without cap – 26,9 g . 

Загальні розміри інструменту: довжина складеного інструменту – 147 мм, зі знятим ковпачком – 137 мм. Діаметр корпусу – 18 мм, у місці хвату – 13.4 мм. Вага складеного інструменту – 37.3 г(включно з конвертером Pilot Con-70), зі знятим ковпачком – 26,9 г.

Тест пера я не став робити оскільки у даному випадку це немає великого значення, але в подальшому, можливо, доповню цей пост тестом.

I didn’t do a pen test because it doesn’t really matter in this case, but I might add a test to this post in the future.

Звісно, класичний варіант із чорного ебоніту теж буде, але трохи згодом, за можливістю.

Of course, also will be a classic version made of black ebonite, but a little later, depending on the possibilities.

Ще один варіант Visio, який з’явився трохи випадково. Через відключення електроенергії у мене звилися деякі налаштування через що я помилився із довжиною корпусу. Через це довелось зробити оглядове віконце трохи більшого розміру щоб не втратити матеріал. І хоча я не планую робити таку версію, все одно вирішив додати її в огляд.

Another Visio version that came about a bit by accident. Due to a power blackouts, I messed up some settings, which made me make a mistake with the length of this body. Because of this, I had to make the ink window a little larger so as not to lose material. And although I don’t plan to make such version of pen, I still decided to add it to the review.

Матеріал майже такий самий і відрізняється лише текстурою.

The material is almost the same and only the texture differs.

Завдяки відповідній товщині прозорого акрилу, віконце виглядає трохи як збільшуюча лінза із відповидними викревленнями по краях))

Thanks to the appropriate thickness of the transparent acrylic, the ink window looks a bit like a magnifying lens with corresponding curvatures at the edges))

Виявив бажання протестувати сьогодні ручку.

I wanted to test this my pen today.

Товщина лінії прямою стороною становить 0,5 мм, натиск збільшує цю лінію до 0,7 мм. Зворотний бік пише з шириною 0,3 мм, але з меншою подачею, через що лінія виглядає більш прозорою.

Ordinary line width by right side is 0.5 mm; pressure increases this line up to 0.7 mm. The reverse side writes by width about 0.3 mm, but with less ink flow, which makes the line look more transparent.

Update 19.02.2026:

Раптово виникла у мене ідея спробувати використати футляр для сігар в якості чохла для моїх оверсайзів. Звісно в базовому варіанті багато недолікиів, тому я розробив деяки частини заповнення та заміни, якіб позбудися цих недоліків.

I suddenly had the idea to try using a cigar case as a hard case for my oversized pens. Of course, the basic version has many shortcomings, so I developed some filling parts and replacement to overcome these shortcomings..

Ось так кейс виглядає в руках. Загальні розміри чохла – 160 мм завдовжки, діаметр – 26 мм, вага  – 43 г. Матеріал: алюміній та пластик.

How look this case in hands. Overall dimensions of the case are 160 mm long, 26 mm in diameter, and 43 g in weight. Material: aluminum and plastic.

У мене залишилось пару запчастин від двох придбаних та перероблених футлярів, тож я вирішив зробити третій:)).

I had a couple of spare parts left from two purchased and redesigned cases, so I decided to make a third one :)).
