Fiftieth day of the war. The fiftieth day, when the phrase “How are you?” has become so expected and necessary. It became a manifestation of care, concern and love. And although in response we often get «normal, alive, better than in Mariupol or other “hot spots”», everyone knows how much pain is hidden behind those words. It is good when you can get an answer from the dearest ones and have those from whom you will expect the message “How are you?” Every day. I would like to wish all and first of all Ukrainians the opportunity to have an answer “Thank you! Very well, everything is fine!”

П‘ятдесятий день війни. П‘ятдесятий день, коли фраза «Як ти?» стала такою очікуваною і необхідною. Стала проявом турботи, піклування і любові. І хоч у відповідь ми часто отримуємо «нормально, живі, ліпше ніж в Маріуполі чи інших “гарячих точках”», кожен знає, як багато болю ховається за тими словами. Добре коли можно отримувати відповідь від найдорожчих і мати тих, від кого щодня будете чекати повідомлення «Як ти?». Хотілось би побажати усім і на самперед українцям скорішої можливості мати у відповідь “Дякую! Добре, все чудово!”

А ще хочу особливо відмітити, що той, відомий вже на весь світ, “російський корабль” який вся нація(та й не тільки) посилала у “відомому напрямку”, на ЩАСТЯ такі відбув куди слід сьогодні, на початку дня!:) Спасибі нашому славному ЗСУ! Слава Україні! Героям слава!

Что происходило в ноябре 2021-феврале 2022, когда «нас предупреждали».

Дисклеймер. 

Мне бесконечно всё равно как воспримет этот текст подавляющее число добрых людей, его прочитавших. И как будут относиться лично ко мне. Как и всё написанное на этой страничке, эти буквы – исключительно моё субъективное мнение. 

Я отдаю себе отчёт, что сейчас этот текст будет воспринят плохо. Такая ситуация. Горячая. Много боли. Люди не хотят принимать факты и анализировать сложные явления. Они ищут подтверждение тому, во что уже поверили, что им близко. Это нормально – нужны силы, чтобы выжить.

Написан текст потому, что 1) было много вопросов от людей, к которым я отношусь с уважением, хоть и часто спорю. 2) возможно, он даст какие-то подсказки тем, кто накануне решающих событий пытается разобраться и ищет точку опоры. 3) чтобы к нему можно было вернуться через несколько месяцев, когда нужно будет с чем-то свериться. 4) в сети творится какая-то дичь, словно война уже закончилась, и пришло время наказывать невиновных и награждать непричастных. Ничего не закончилось, даже близко…

Так вот.

Первое. Любой, у кого есть хоть какие-то мозги, не может отрицать. Даже сейчас. Даже сейчас. Даже сейчас. Даже сейчас. Даже сейчас. На фоне растерзанного Мариуполя, израненного Харькова, изувеченного Чернигова. После геноцида в Буче, братских могил в многоэтажках Бородянки, вокзала в Краматорске. На фоне террора на Херсонщине. Даже сейчас. Уровень вовлечения и реакция со стороны «цивилизованного мира» остаются неадекватными ситуации. Не недостаточными, а неадекватными. Нелогичными, если в основе логики – недопущение / борьба с тем, что олицетворяет собой Кремль.

Принимаемые сейчас на Западе решения были бы идеальны в ноябре и хороши в декабре 2021. Они были бы слегка запоздалыми в январе, когда НАТО предложили «собрать манатки». Но ещё могли бы повлиять в феврале. До того, как. Но маємо те, що маємо.

А теперь мысленно перенеситесь в конец октября 2021 г. Когда «внезапно» заговорили о грядущем вторжении. И представьте, какой уровень «поддержки» был тогда.

Многие вполне вменяемые люди до сих пор отказываются принять. 

Все, кто тогда «предупреждал» о вторжении. Все. Не предлагали Украине опций «вот мы сейчас введём страшные санкции и дадим вам оружие для обороны». Была только одна опция – «предложить Украине сдаться». Капитулировать. Стать частью большого ОРДЛО под контролем России.

Украинское военно-политическое руководство ОТКАЗАЛОСЬ капитулировать. Это решение было принято ВОПРЕКИ позиции наших партнёров. 

В конце года нашим партнёрам доказывали, что Украина будет сражаться НЕСМОТРЯ НА любые их решения. 

Проверьте. Например, посмотрите публикацию министра обороны Алексея Резникова на AtlanticCouncil от 03.12.21. Там же были описаны последствия невмешательства Запада – от миллионов беженцев до глобального продовольственного кризиса, если полномасштабную войну не удастся упредить. Всё уже сбылось! 

Это то, что было изложено прямым текстом публично.

В тот момент единственной опорой в борьбе с Россией был УКРАИНСКИЙ НАРОД. Поэтому приоритетом для военно-политического руководства было укрепление веры украинского народа в свою армию и свои силы. Происходило это под страшным медийным и политическим давлением. 

У нас любят использовать Израиль для аналогий и как метафору. Так вот с ноября мы уже «Израиль». 

Ибо в основе того, что стало Израилем – выбор, последовательный выбор НАПЕРЕКОР. «Нерациональное» решение бороться ВОПРЕКИ, вместо «благоразумного» соглашательства с теми, кому сложно отказывать. 

Я убеждён, что в ноябре-январе военно-политическим руководством страны была УСПЕШНО РЕШЕНА задача по формированию основы для сопротивления с опорой на силу украинского народа. Это не только мои домыслы – это подтверждает социология, которая проводилась за средства налогоплательщиков стран-партнёров.

Вспомните. Тогда в качестве прелюдии к вторжению те же партнёры указывали фактор «внутренней дестабилизации». Элементом дестабилизации является паника. К концу января этот фактор был нейтрализован. ВОПРЕКИ.

Социология зафиксировала рост уверенности украинцев в способность отразить атаку, ВОПРЕКИ тому, что творилось в медиа.

А теперь вспомните или поищите – КОГДА произошли первые заметные поставки оружия. Подскажу. Они случились ПОСЛЕ того, как партнёрам пришлось смириться – Украина всё равно будет сопротивляться. И если бы нападение случилось на фоне полного отсутствия помощи, выглядело бы очень некрасиво.

Вы можете как угодно относиться ко мне или этим буквам. Но вам придётся отнестись к факту, что стингеры появились только в конце января. Чуть раньше появились ПТРК. Хотя запрос о помощи был другого уровня и намного раньше. Например, ещё в ноябре по настойчивой просьбе Украины приезжала мониторинговая миссия для проверки наших потребностей в ПРО и ПВО. Диалог вёлся не на уровне лозунгов, а на уровне очень прикладных доказуемых вещей. Надо было просто принять решение…

Эскалация началась на фоне ОТСУТСТВИЯ адекватной для ситуации поддержки и реакции свободного мира. 

«Уничтожающие санкции» не введены до сих пор, хоть и тысячу раз обещаны! Вспомните, сколько было «превентивных» заявлений. И посмотрите, что на самом деле представляют собой «отключение от Swift» и транспортные санкции, особенно – морские. Сколько там исключений и каких. А ведь прошло уже 45 дней жестокой войны. Но это у нас. У некоторых – на носу пасхальные каникулы. Это не упрёк – это та ситуация, в которой мы находимся.  

После того, как военно-политическое руководство Украины отказалось сдаваться, а Президент отказался покидать Киев, возникла новая реальность. К которой партнёры не были готовы. Возник «Израиль» с населением 40 млн, громадной территорией в центре Европы, яростно дерущийся с наводящим ужас врагом.

Вспомните, что Президенту Украины настойчиво не рекомендовали ехать в Мюнхен. Забыли уже? Речь его там забыли? А ведь столько было восторгов. Если бы Президент сбежал, многим было бы очень комфортно. Была бы «украинская Тихановская». Можно было бы выступать на престижных площадках по миру, фотографироваться, выслушивать сожаление и поддержку…

Но армия и народ выстояли, власть повела себя достойно. Поэтому у нас всё ещё есть страна. Во стократ лучше всех израилей. 

Второе. Как оценить степень нашей готовности к войне?

По моему личному субъективному мнению, ситуация выглядит так: на нас, не завершивших подготовку, напал неготовый к войне враг. Который почувствовал, что баланс сил может серьёзно измениться не в его пользу, и это последний выгодный момент для нападения.

Тем, кто носится с криками «иностранные разведки предупреждали», я предлагаю думать хоть одной целой извилиной, а не половинкой. 

Во всех публичных сообщениях рефреном звучала мысль – данные разведок одинаковые. Только практические решения противоположные: предложение сдаться и отказ сдаваться. Потому что интересы разные. Многим было бы гораздо комфортнее, если б мы сдались. 

А теперь воспримите буквально.

20 февраля вечером, за три дня до эскалации, министр обороны Алексей Резников заявил (проверьте цитату): «по состоянию на этот час УДАРНОЙ группировки (!) со стороны Российской Федерации ни в одном из мест, где они окружили Украину, ПОКА НЕ СФОРМИРОВАНО. Поэтому говорить о том, что будет завтра нападение, будет послезавтра нападение, неуместно. Но это не означает, что низкие риски, это не означает, что нет угрозы… Мы абсолютно осознанно оцениваем все риски и все угрозы. Украинские Вооруженные силы вместе со всем украинским народом готовы к сопротивлению». Этот вывод был на основании заключения украинской разведки.

Тем, кто хочет получить не политическую, а военную оценку, советую посмотреть выступление главкома Валерия Залужного на ток-шоу «Право на владу» 3 февраля 2022 г. Залужный прямым текстом говорит: «С 30 октября мы очень большую работу провели. И очень хорошо, что о ней совсем не говорят. И продолжаем эту работу вести сейчас. Значит, мы правильно всё делали. … Мы готовим те необходимые группировки, чтобы можно было дать отпор, и проводим мероприятия по планированию, и даже тренировки…». Этот эфир был уже после раскрученного в СМИ и соцсетях «визита директора ЦРУ», где «нам всё рассказали в деталях». 

Весь период до начала эскалации была абсолютно адекватная оценка ситуации и делалось то, ЧТО МОЖНО БЫЛО СДЕЛАТЬ. Залужный вот прямо этими словами и говорит: «сделано то, что можно было сделать».

И Резников, и Залужный в один голос в те месяцы твердили – верьте в ЗСУ! 

Что показали дальнейшие события? 

В момент эскалации:

1) Наша армия была готова. Вспомните. Россия планировала первым же ударом обнулить нашу авиацию и ПВО. Не вышло. Потому что авиация и ПВО были заблаговременно рассредоточены. Полученное от партнеров оружие также было рассредоточено, а в большинстве – передано в боевые части. Более того: в рамках зеркальных учений целый ряд боевых подразделений был заранее выведен из ППД по всему периметру. Это резко замедлило врага. Планы были сорваны.

2) Враг начал атаку явно неподготовленным к такой операции. Доказательство – со стороны Беларуси, Сум, Чернигова наступательный порыв иссяк через три дня, оккупанты забуксовали без снабжения. Логистическая часть, которая является частью ударной группировки, не была готова. Т.е., данные нашей разведки, на которые опиралось наше военно-политическое руководство, были достоверными. И выводы были сделаны правильные. Штурм продолжался только там, где логистическое плечо было близким к нулю (Харьков, зона ООС, Мариуполь, Херсонская область).

3) Наши войска вступили в равный бой с элитными штурмовыми частями России. Подчёркиваю. Наши достойно встретили всё самое лучшее, что есть (точнее – было) в России. Разгром десанта в Гостомеле и Василькове – ярчайшее доказательство. Мы сейчас это ещё не ценим по достоинству, потому что горячая фаза. Но пробуксовка оккупантов связана с тем, что самые боеспособные российские части просто выкошены. А тупое давление массой даёт ограниченный эффект. Парадоксально (на самом деле – объяснимо), что опытные части боевиков ОРДЛО воюют лучше, чем регулярные российские войска. 

4) Также оказались верными наши внутренние оценки, что врагу не удастся взять Киев. Хотя на самом высоком уровне партнёров столице отводили 3 дня на окружение – неделю на капитуляцию. Вспомните / проверьте.

5) Главное – наш НАРОД был готов. Вероломное нападение врага, одно упоминание которого вызывает трепет половины мира, украинский народ не сломило. 

Можете воспринимать мой вывод как субъективный. Но я в нём убеждён: военно-политическому руководству нашей страны удалось УСПЕШНО реализовать операцию прикрытия для подготовки отражения возможной атаки. Учитывая внутриполитические, внешнеполитические и прикладные (военные) факторы, было сделано очень многое. Наверняка не всё, но многое. И этого оказалось достаточно, чтобы выдержать первую волну атак. Как будет дальше – увидим. Когда-нибудь потом, лет через 15, если доживу, опишу ещё трек с Беларусью. Сейчас без комментариев.

Третье. Самое болезненное. Можно ли было предотвратить?

Не знаю. Всё для этого делали. 

Россияне неплохо анализируют прикладные вещи. Они наверняка видели, что к концу марта украинская армия получит новое качество (речь не только о ТРО. Речь о внедрении АСУ и многом другом, что разворачивалось с конца года. Например, самые крупные контракты на поставку брони и ряд других позиций, которые реализованы в марте, были заряжены в декабре-январе). По сути, Кремль был в ситуации: напасть в феврале, будучи неготовым, или отложить атаку на полгода, но столкнуться с ещё более сильной украинской армией? Они приняли решение – оно оказалось плохим.

Можно ли было избежать жертв и разрушений? Не знаю. 

Я воспринимаю только те утверждения «Надо было…» / «А почему…?», которые учитывают хотя бы основные факторы. 

Я спрашивал у специалистов. Они говорят разное, но сходятся в одном: сейчас многие крепки задним умом. Особенно те, у кого нет доступа к информации, и кто даже приблизительно не учитывает основные влияющие факторы. Если основывать выводы только на том, что нравится – это не выводы, это лозунги.

И последнее. Что меня несколько утомляет, так это количество человеко-крыс, повылазивших за последние дни и превративших Гостомель, Бучу, Бородянку и др. в фотозоны. В конце февраля их не было. Они растеклись чем-то жидким. Прям терминаторы, Т1000. В марте они начали подавать голоса и пытаться подруливать обороной. А теперь эти «отцы и матери победы» готовы вести бригады в бой. Желательно, дистанционно.

Уважаемые дамы и господа. Ещё рано. Самое трудное – ещё впереди. Не исключено, что вам опять придётся играть в терминаторов. Потому что враг готовится атаковать всей мощью. Будет много плохих новостей перед тем, как появятся хорошие. Так что не спешите, это фальстарт.  

У меня нет никаких иллюзий на счет того, что будет дальше. При любом (!) развитии событий, даже если будет сожжён Кремль, нынешняя команда Минобороны попадёт под каток. Это законы жанра. Важно, чтобы это не разрушило длинные процессы, которые создают для страны стратегические преимущества и обеспечивают самодостаточность. 

Вывод из всего этого – нашим гражданам следует научиться СЛУШАТЬ СВОИХ И ДОВЕРЯТЬ СВОИМ. Не красивым дядям и тётям, которые временно отличают Украину от Уганды. А своим. Без этого ничего не будет. 

Сейчас делается невозможное. И на фронте, и на внешнеполитическом/дипломатическом уровне. Мы в эпицентре третьей мировой войны. Украина выиграет эту войну, только если будет реально смотреть на вещи. 

У нас огромная страна. У нас только беженцев в Европе столько, сколько населения Хорватии. Мы уже понесли страшный урон и ещё понесём. Мы не знаем, как аукнутся нашим детям эти месяцы. И скольких людей мы сумеем вернуть в страну. Чтобы выбраться из всего этого, восстановиться и двигаться вперёд, нужна полная концентрация и полное отсутствие самообмана, ложных целей. 

После победы у нас будет огромный вес. И те, кто сейчас наблюдают за нами из мирных комфортных городов, пытаются понять своё место в новом мире с новой Украиной. Ведь основной признак «Израиля» – он колюч и неудобен.

Подумайте, кому выгодно, чтобы мы вышли из этой войны, нарастив невероятную военную и моральную силу? Кто этому обрадуется? 

«Предупреждают» иногда для того, чтобы толкнуть на ложный путь. Украина сейчас кровью платит за то, чтобы прислушиваться только к тем «предупреждениям», что отвечают интересам страны и её народа. 

То, что сейчас происходит с нашей страной и нашими людьми – трагедия. Я даже в первом приближении не пытаюсь уместить в голове урон и последствия. Потому что это может парализовать волю, а нужна концентрация на том, что ведёт к победе.

Но в чём я уверен точно. Если бы в конце года случилась капитуляция – началась бы гражданская война. И вот тогда Россия нас бы просто разорвала. Погибло бы на порядок больше людей. Никакого мирного аншлюса по белорусскому сценарию не было бы. Это самообман. «Денацификацию» провели бы максимально тщательно.

И у нас не было бы шанса получить ту помощь, которую мы сейчас в борьбе, но выгрызаем. У нас не было бы ни единого шанса получить то будущее, за которое мы сейчас воюем. 

Так что в краткосрочной перспективе нас ждёт много труда и страданий, но стратегически этот путь верен. Он приведёт нас к победе. А за победой будет успех и благополучие, которого мы хотим.

This text was written because 1) there were many questions from people whom I respect, although I often argue. 2) perhaps he will give some clues to those who, on the eve of decisive events, are trying to figure it out and are looking for. 3) so that you can return to it in a few months, when you need to check something. 4) some kind of game is going on in the network, as if the war has already ended, and it’s time to punish the innocent and reward the uninvolved. Nothing is over, not even close…

So.

First. Anyone with any brains can’t deny. Even now. Even now. Even now. Even now. Even now. Against the background of torn apart Mariupol, wounded Kharkov, mutilated Chernigov. After the genocide in Bucha, mass graves in the high-rise buildings of Borodianka, the station in Kramatorsk. Against the backdrop of terror in the Kherson region. Even now. The level of involvement and reaction from the “civilized world” remain inadequate to the situation. Not insufficient, but inadequate. Illogical, if the basis of logic is the prevention / struggle against what the Kremlin personifies.

The decisions now being made in the West would have been ideal in November and good in December 2021. They would have been a little belated in January, when NATO was offered to “collect the bag”. But still could affect in February. Until. But .

And now mentally fast forward to the end of October 2021, when “suddenly” they started talking about the coming invasion. And imagine what level of “support” there was then.

Many quite sane people still refuse to accept.

All those who then “warned” about the invasion. All. They did not offer Ukraine the options “now we will introduce terrible sanctions and give you weapons for defense.” There was only one option – “to offer Ukraine to surrender.” Surrender. Become part of a large ORDLO under russian control.

The Ukrainian military-political leadership REFUSED to capitulate. This decision was made AGAINST the position of our partners.

At the end of the year, our partners were proved that Ukraine would fight DESPITE their decisions.

You can check. For example, see the posting by Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov on AtlanticCouncil dated 12/03/21. It also described the consequences of Western non-intervention – from millions of refugees to a global food crisis if a full-scale war cannot be averted. Everything has already come true!

This is what was stated in plain text in public.

At that moment, the only support in the fight against russia was the UKRAINIAN PEOPLE. Therefore, the priority for the military-political leadership was to strengthen the faith of the Ukrainian people in their army and their forces. This happened under terrible media and political pressure.

We like to use Israel for analogies and as a metaphor. So since November we have been “Israel”.

For at the heart of what has become Israel is a choice, a consistent choice AGAINST. An “irrational” decision to fight DESPITE, instead of a “prudent” conciliation with those who find it difficult to refuse.

I am convinced that in November-January the military-political leadership of the country SUCCESSFULLY SOLVED the task of forming the basis for resistance based on the strength of the Ukrainian people. These are not only my conjectures – this is confirmed by sociology, which was carried out at the expense of the taxpayers of the partner countries.

Do you remember? Then, as a prelude to the invasion, the same partners indicated the factor of “internal destabilization”. The element of destabilization is panic. By the end of January, this factor was neutralized. DESPITE.

Sociology has recorded the growing confidence of Ukrainians in the ability to repel an attack, DESPITE what was going on in the media.

And now remember or look – WHEN the first noticeable deliveries of weapons took place. I’ll give you a hint. They happened AFTER the partners had to see – Ukraine will still resist. And if the attack happened against the backdrop of a complete lack of help, it would look very ugly or shame.

You can read my text as you want. But you have to agree that stingers only appeared at the end of January. A little earlier, anti-tank systems appeared. Although the request for help was on a different level and much earlier. For example, back in November, at the insistent request of Ukraine, a monitoring mission came to check our needs for missile defense and air defense. The dialogue was conducted not as slogans, but as a real necessity. Partners just had to make a decision…

The escalation began against the background of the LACK of an adequate reaction of the free world.

“Destroying sanctions” have not yet been on, although they have been promised a thousand times! Remember how many “preventive” statements there were. And look at what the Swift shutdown and transport sanctions, especially maritime ones, really are. How many exceptions are there and which ones. But 45 days of a brutal war we have already passed. But this is our war. And somewhere the beginning of the Easter holidays. This is not a reproach – this is the situation in which we find ourselves.

After the military-political leadership of Ukraine refused to surrender, and the President refused to leave Kyiv, a new reality emerged. For which the partners were not ready. An “Israel” has emerged with a population of 40 million, a huge territory in the center of Europe, fighting furiously with a ruthless and immoral enemy.

Remember that the President of Ukraine was strongly advised not to go to Munich. Forgot already? Did you forget his speech? But there were so many delights. If the President ran away, many would be very comfortable. There would be a “Ukrainian Tikhanovskaya”. One could perform at prestigious venues around the world, take pictures, listen to regret and support …

But the army and the people survived, the government behaved with dignity. That’s why we still have a country. A hundred times better than all Israels.

Second. How to assess the degree of our readiness to war?

In my personal opinion, the situation looks like this: we, who had not completed preparations, were attacked by an enemy unprepared for war. Who felt that the balance of power could seriously change not in his favor, and this is the last advantageous moment for the attack.

For those who rush about with cries of “foreign intelligence was warned”, I suggest that you first fool around logically.

In all public reports, the thought sounded like a refrain – the intelligence data is the same. Only practical solutions are opposite: an offer to surrender and a refusal to surrender. Because the interests are different. Many would be much more comfortable if we gave up.

Now take it literally.

On the evening of February 20, three days before the escalation, Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov stated (check the quote): “as of this hour, the STRIKING group (!) from the Russian Federation has not yet been FORMED in any of the places where they surrounded Ukraine. Therefore, it is inappropriate to say that there will be an attack tomorrow or there will be an attack the day after tomorrow. But this does not mean that there is no threat … We absolutely consciously assess all risks and all threats. The Ukrainian Armed Forces, together with the entire Ukrainian people, are ready for resistance.” This conclusion was based on the conclusion of Ukrainian intelligence.

For those who want to get not a political, but a military assessment, I advise you to watch the speech of Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzny on the talk show “Pravo na Vladu” on February 3, 2022. Zaluzny says in plain text: “Since October 30, we have done a lot of work. And it’s good that they don’t talk about it at all. And we continue this work now. So we did everything right. … We are preparing those necessary groups so that we can fight back, and we are carrying out planning activities, and even training … “. The entire period before the start of the escalation, there was an absolutely adequate assessment of the situation and everything that COULD BE DONE was done. Zaluzhny says right in these words: “what could have been done we was done.”

Both Reznikov and Zaluzhny unanimously repeated in those months – believe in the ZSU!

What did subsequent events show?

At the time of escalation:

1) Our army was ready. Remember. Russia planned to destroy our aviation and air defense with the very first strike. It didn’t work out. Because aviation and air defense were dispersed in advance. The weapons received from partners were also dispersed, and most of them were transferred to units. Moreover: as part of the exercises, a number of combat units were withdrawn from their locations along the entire perimeter in advance. This drastically slowed down the enemy. The plans were thwarted.

2) The enemy launched the attack clearly unprepared for such an operation. Proof: from the part of Belarus, Sumy, Chernigov, the offensive impulse dried up after three days, the invaders stalled without supplies. The logistics part, which is part of the strike force, was not ready. That is, the data of our intelligence, on which our military-political leadership relied, were correct. And the conclusions were correct. The assault continued only where the logistical shoulder was very short (Kharkov, the JFO zone, Mariupol, Kherson region).

3) Our troops entered into an equal battle with the elite assault units of russia. I emphasize. Ours adequately met all the best that is (or rather, was) in russia. The defeat of the landing in Gostomel and Vasilkov is the strongest proof. We still do not appreciate it at its true worth, because the hot phase now. But the slippage of the invaders is due to the fact that the most combat-ready Russian units are simply defeated. And large amount soldiers for pressure has a limited effect. It is paradoxical (in fact, it is understandable) that the experienced units of the ORDLO militants are fighting better than the regular Russian troops.

4) Our internal assessments also turned out to be correct, that the enemy will not be able to take Kyiv. Although at the highest level of partners, the capital was given 3 days to encircle and a week to surrender. Remember/Check.

5) The main thing is that our PEOPLE was ready. The perfidious attack of the enemy, the mere mention of which causes the trembling of half the world, did not break the Ukrainian people.

You can take my conclusion as subjective. But I am convinced of it: the military-political leadership of our country managed to SUCCESSFULLY implement a cover operation to prepare to repel an attack. Taking into account domestic political, foreign political and military factors, a lot has been done. Probably not all, but a lot. And this was enough to withstand the first wave of attacks. As will be further – we’ll see. Someday later, in 15 years, if I live, I will describe another topic with Belarus. Now no comment.

Third. The most painful question. Could it have been prevented?

Don’t know. Everything was done for this.

Some russians can analyze. They could see that by the end of March the Ukrainian army would receive new weapons. We are talking about the introduction of ACS and much more. For example, the largest contracts for the supply of armor and a number of other items, which were implemented in March, were agreed in December-January. The Kremlin was in a situation: to attack in February unprepared, or to postpone the attack for six months, but face a stronger Ukrainian army? They made a decision now and it turned out to be a bad one.

Could the casualties and destruction have been avoided? Don’t know.

I asked the experts. They say different things, but agree on one thing: now many are smart to talk after it happened. Especially those who do not have access to information, and who do not even approximately take into account the main influencing factors. If you base conclusions only on what you like, these will not be conclusions, these will be slogans.

And the last. What tires me a little is the number of vile people who have appeared in recent days and turned Gostomel, Bucha, Borodyanka into photo zones. They are was hiden at the end of February. They hid, and now in March they appeared and began to give “correct” advice. Now these “fathers and mothers of victory” are even ready to lead brigades into battle, but preferably remotely.
Dear these “ladies and gentlemen”. It is too early for you. You arrived early, the most difficult is yet to come. The enemy is preparing to attack with all his might. There will be a lot of bad news before there is good news. So don’t rush, it’s a false start.

I have no illusions about what will happen next. In any (!) development of events, even if the Kremlin is burned, the current team of the Ministry of Defense will fall under the big critique. These are the laws of the genre. It is important that this does not destroy the right processes that create strategic advantages for the country and ensure self-sufficiency.

The conclusion from all this is that our citizens should learn to LISTEN TO OURS AND TRUST OURS. Not listenen beautiful uncles and aunts who temporarily distinguish Ukraine from Uganda. Only OURS. Without this, nothing will happen.

Now the impossible is being done. Both at the front and at the foreign policy/diplomatic level. We are at the epicenter of World War III. Ukraine will win this war only if it looks at things realistically.

We have a huge country. We only have as many refugees in Europe as the population of Croatia. We have already suffered terrible damage and will suffer more. We do not know how these months will come back to haunt our children. And how many people we will be able to return to the country. To get out of all this, recover and move forward, you need complete concentration and a complete absence of self-deception, false goals.

After victory, our word will carry weight. And those who are now watching us from peaceful comfortable cities are trying to understand their place in the new world with the new Ukraine. After all, the main feature of “Israel” is that it is prickly and uncomfortable.

Think about who benefits from us getting out of this war with an incredible military and moral strength? Who will be happy about this?

“Warnings” sometimes in order to push on the wrong path. Ukraine is now paying with blood to listen only to those “warnings” that are in the interests of the country and its people.

What is happening to our country and our people is a tragedy. I don’t even try to fit the damage and consequences in my head, even as a first approximation. Because it can paralyze the will, but you need concentration on what leads to victory.

But what am I sure of. If there had been a capitulation at the end of the year, then a civil war would have begun. And then Russia would simply tear us apart. More people would have died. There would be no peaceful Anschluss according to the Belarusian scenario. This is self-deception. “Denazification” would have been carried out as harshly as possible.

And we would not have a chance to get the help that we are now hardly getting. We would not have a single chance to get the future for which we are now fighting.

So in the short term, we will have a lot of work and suffering, but strategically this path is correct. He will lead us to victory. And after the victory there will be success and well-being, which we want.
