Hello! I already have a review of the regular Meisterstuck Platinum series, but this limited edition for UNICEF was created in 2013, so I decided to make a separate post.

Вітаю! У мене вже є огляд на звичайний Meisterstuck платинової серії, але це обмежене видання для UNISEF створене у 2013 році, тож я вирішив зробити окремий пост.

Montblanc Meisterstück LeGrand (146) UNISEF LE 2013 (made in Germany)

Від базової моделі майже нічим не відрізняється окрім дизайну навершя ковпачка. Все решта це сучасний інструмент, який має характерну для сучасних Montblanc форму сигари, виконаний, як рясніє інтернет, з “коштовної смоли“чорного кольору. Корпус глянцевий і чудово відполірований. Ковпачок на різьблені з повним закриттям за 1.5 оберта, різьба звичайна, двозаходна. Барель має оглядове віконце для контролю чорнил у вигляді прозорих смужок одразу за різьбою ковпачка. Всі металеві деталі, які не сховані в корпусі, покриті платиною.

It is almost identical to the base model except for the cap’s top design. Everything else is a modern writing tool, which has a cigar shape characteristic of modern Montblanc, is made from “precious resin” black color. The body is glossy and perfectly polished. The cap on thread with full closure in 1.5 turns, the thread is ordinary, two-start. The barrel has ink window for ink control in the form of transparent stripes just behind the cap thread. The all metal parts are platinum-plated.

Кожен оригінальний інструмент компанії Монблан має свій унікальний серійний номер, який гравірується на кільці кліпу, але у цьому випадку ще є номер  лімітованого видання серії “Signature for good”. Логотип  Pix® розташований на широкому кільці ковпачка слідом за MONTBLANC-MEISTERSTUCK. Навершя має фірмову емблему Монблан, у вигляді білої снігової гори (або білої шестикутної зірки) на додаток до  текстури цеглової стіни в яку інкрустований невеликий онікс(?). На внутрішній стороні кліпу розташоване Made in Germany.

Each original Montblanc fountain pen has its own unique serial number, but in this case there is also a limited edition number from the “Signature for good” series. The Pix® logo is located on the wide ring of the cap, following the MONTBLANC-MEISTERSTUCK. The top has the original Montblanc logo, in the form of a white snowy mountain (or a white six-pointed star) in addition to the texture of a brick wall in which a small onyx(?) is inlaid. Made in Germany is located on the back side of the clip.

Перо: це сучасний класичний Монблан у золотому виконанні з 14-каратного золота, покритий родієм, у народі відомий як двоколірний (dual tone). Навколо повітряного отвору є ажурний візерунок, що відділяє золоту поверхню від платинованої, під повітряним отвором знаходиться класичний імпринт: 4810 (висота піку Монблан), а також фірмовий логотип Монтблан з вписаною в нього ажурною великою М. У нижній частині розташований текст Au585, StOD та MONTBLANC (Au – Aurum – золото на латині).

The nib: this is a modern classic Montblanc nib in 14k gold rhodium-plated, named as dual tone. Around the air hole there is an openwork pattern separating the gold surface from the platinized one, bellow the air hole a classic imprint: 4810 (the height of the Mont Blanc peak), as well as the Montblanc brand logo and an openwork capital M inscribed in it. The text Au585, StOD, and MONTBLANC is located in the lower part (Au – Aurum – gold in Latin). 

Загальні розміри інструмента: повна довжина у складеному вигляді — 144,5 мм , зі знятим ковпачком — 125 мм. Діаметр корпусу 13.5 мм, у грипі 11.2 мм. Вага напівзаправленої ручки: 27,5 г з одягненим ковпачком і 16,35 г без нього.

Overall dimensions of the tool: folded length – 144,5 mm, without cap – 125 mm. Body diameter 13.5 mm and at the grip – 11.2 mm. Full weight of half-filled pen is 27,5 g and without cap – 16.35 g.

Хвилинки історії:
Окрім цього спеціального видання 2013 року, компанія випускала ще одне спеціальне видання присвячене UNISEF у 2017 році у такому самому дизайні та дизайні Solitaire. Відмінність класичної моделі 2017 року від 2013 полягає у сапфірі замість онікса, та візерунку навершя. Загально ж сучасна лінійка із платинованим кліпом та кільцями буда започаткована у 2002 році.

ЮНІСЕФ (United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund, UNICEF), спочатку Міжнародний фонд допомоги дітям ООН( створена 11 грудня 1946 року), офіційно Дитячий фонд ООН з 1953 року є установою Організації Об’єднаних Націй та відповідає за надання гуманітарної допомоги та допомоги дітям у всьому світі. Організація є однією з найбільш широко відомих та помітних установ соціального забезпечення у всьому світі, яка діє у 192 країнах та територіях. Діяльність ЮНІСЕФ включає імунізацію та профілактику захворювань, лікування дітей та матерів з ВІЛ, покращення харчування дітей та матерів, покращення санітарії, сприяння освіті та надання екстреної допомоги у відповідь на стихійні лиха.

Moment of history:
In addition to this special edition in 2013, the company released another special edition dedicated to UNICEF in 2017 in the same design and the Solitaire design. The difference between the 2017 classic model and the 2013 model is the sapphire instead of onyx, and the pattern on the top. The generally modern Platinum line with platinum-plated clip and rings was launched in 2002.

UNICEF, originally the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund, officially United Nations Children’s Fund since 1953, is an agency of the United Nations responsible for providing humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide. The organization is one of the most widely known and visible social welfare entities globally, operating in 192 countries and territories. UNICEF’s activities include providing immunizations and disease prevention, administering treatment for children and mothers with HIV, enhancing childhood and maternal nutrition, improving sanitation, promoting education, and providing emergency relief in response to disasters.

Ручка до мене потрапила на обслуговування поршня через його важкий рух, та налаштування пера. Після протестована.

The pen came to me for piston service due to its difficult movement and nib adjustment. After, it has been tested.

Ширина лінії звичайною (ординарною) стороною становить – 0.6 мм, натиск дозволяє збільшити лінію до 1.0 мм. Зворотна сторона дає лінію 0.25 мм.

 The line width by the right (ordinary) side is – 0.3mm, pressure allows increase thші line to 1.0 mm. The reverse side gives a 0.25mm line.

У підсумку: це якісний у всіх відношеннях інструмент так само як і звичайний Meisterstuck LeGrand лише із усвідомленням що частки грошей із продажу піде у фонд UNISEF. Тож як що ви можете собі його дозволите то дозволяйте, може саме ваша крапля допоможе якійсь дитині.

At the end: This is a quality instrument in every way, just like the regular Meisterstuck LeGrand, only with the understanding that part of the money from the sale will go to the UNICEF fund. So if you can afford it, then do it, maybe your drop will help some child.

Ну і на останок, традиційно, тестовий ескіз – та сьогодні це шана черговому захиснику України, який загинув на фронті.

And finally, traditionally, a test sketch – but today it is a tribute to another warrior of Ukraine who died at the front.

На фронті загинув 26-річний Андрій Синишин — актор львівських театрів «І люди, і ляльки» та ім. Леся Курбаса, а також відданий захисник України. З початком повномасштабної війни Андрій одразу долучився до оборони країни. Спершу він служив у 103-й бригаді територіальної оборони під позивним «Стус», а згодом приєднався до 80-ї окремої десантно-штурмової бригади, змінивши позивний на «Абсурд». На передовій він неодноразово рятував побратимів із небезпечних оточень.Життя Андрія обірвалося 16 квітня 2025 року неподалік села Юнаківка на Сумщині. Його довгий час вважали зниклим безвісти. Він загинув, захищаючи Україну.

26-year-old Andriy Synyshyn, was actor of the Lviv theaters “And People, and Dolls” and named after Lesj Kurbas, as well as a devoted defender of Ukraine, died at the front. With the beginning of a full-scale war, Andriy immediately joined the defense of the country. At first, he served in the 103rd Territorial Defense Brigade under the call sign “Stus”, and later joined the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade, changing the call sign to “Absurd”. On the front line, he repeatedly rescued his comrades from dangerous environments. Andriy’s life was cut short on April 16, 2025 near the village of Yunakivka in Sumy region. He was considered missing for a long time. He died defending Ukraine.
