Montblanc Meisterstuck 147 Traveler LeGrand (made in Germany)

Інструмент має цигароподібну форму (Торпедо) з чорної, глянцевої (дорогоцінної) смоли з позолоченими елементами. Ковпачок на різьблені з повним закриттям за 1 1/6 обертів, різьба трьохзахідна. Система заправки не класична поршнева, а картриджна. Хвостова частина, яка в класичній системі є ручкою приводу поршня, у цьому випадку є хвостовою частиною лотка для 2х картриджів: один робочий, другий запасний. Система не передбачає проколювання картриджа вручну (натиском рукою), це відбувається автоматично, коли лоток закручується в корпус. Усередині лотка є фіксатор, який фіксує картридж, не дозволяючи йому рухатися вздовж лотка.

This tool is a cigar-shaped form (torpedo) made of black, glossy (precious) resin with gold-plated elements. Cap on thread, full closure in 1 1/6 turn with three-start thread. The filling system is not a classic piston, but a cartridge. The tail section, which in the classical system is the piston knob, in this case is the tail section of the tray for 2 cartridges: one working, the second reserve. The system does not needed manually mounted cartridge by pressure, this did automatically when the tray is screwed into the body. There is a locking tab inside the tray that fixed cartridge from moving.

Most of the pen elements are have info about company. There is an embossing on the cartridge tray MONT BLANC and produced in GERMANY. The top of the cap has a recognizable logo of the company in the form of a “snowflake”, “flower” or “snow-capped mountain top” as it is more convenient for you :). On the body there was a sticker about the size of the nib “F“.

На кліпі також присутня інформація, що підтверджує оригінальність продукту. На кільці кліпа присутня лазерна гравіровка серійного номера: MBDB5NTT4 та країни походження GERMANY. На зворотній стороні кліпа присутнє клеймо: Pix®. За інформацією з Інтернету, ніхто крім самої компанії не знає, що це означає, а компанія не ділиться цією інформацією. Most are inclined to believe that this stigma is a kind of protection of the company from counterfeit products (fakes). But judging by the fact that some models in the 90s, intended for the French market in the same place had the mark “LAITON” (Brass), can also assume that this is the subbrand of a subsidiary foundry, which is engaged in casting brass products for the needs of the company.

The nib: in this model is solid gold, 14 carat, rather impressive in length, but at the same time of medium size in shoulder. In the tail part there is a cutout of material as a key that is combined with a special step of feed, which prevents incorrect mount and alignment. The nib is rigid (hard), without variation, but not the nail as the Platinum. The nib has a original pattern of Montblanc with the numbers 4810 (the height of the Mont Blanc peak), as well as the Montblanc logo with capital M inside. The text 14K MONTBLANC 585 is located in the lower part of nib. There is no any information about dimension of the nib.

На фідері присутнє клеймо D. Конструкція фідера дуже розумна, майже така ж успішна, як і у найближчого прямого конкурента і співбрата за країною походження Pelikan, вона чудово працює в обох напрямках, як знизу вгору, так і зверху вниз. The feed in the modern design of pens is plastic, of a characteristic shape for all cartridge-converter systems, with a thin “tail”, which is located inside the converter / cartridge for an unobstructed intake of ink. The feed has a stamp D. The design of the feeder is very competent, almost as successful as the closest direct competitor Pelikan, works great in both directions, from noose to tail and reversed. The flow of ink to the nib on a new cartridge in dry system takes no more than 20 seconds.

Загальні розміри інструмента: довжина в складеному вигляді – 146 мм (чи не в цьому полягає секрет у назві моделі? Адже відомо, що 147 – це копія 146, 146+1, просто з урахуванням іншій системі заправки), 125 мм зі знятим колпачком. Діаметр корпусу – 13.3мм, в місці хвата – 11мм. Вага інструмента з одним повним картриджем і ковпачком – 24 г і 14 г без ковпачка.

Overall dimensions: folded length – 146mm (is there a secret in the name of the model? 146 + 1, just in a different version of the filling system), 125mm with the cap removed. Body diameter – 13.3mm, at the grip – 11mm. The full weight of the tool with one full cartridge is 24 g and 14 g without cap.

Інструмент потрапив до мене для доробки з метою зменшення товщини лінії, але був повністю обслужений та протестований після цього.

This pen came to me for regrind nib for reduce the thickness line, and this pen was fully serviced and then tested.

Як я вже писав вище, мета полягала в зменшенні товщини лінії до розміру F. Психологічно є плюс у відсутності маркування розміру на самому пері – це уникне будь-якого дисонансу :). Спочатку перо писало звичайною лінією шириною 0,6 мм, зворотною стороною перо практично не писало, навіть скоріше подряпувало, але це зрозуміло через особливу форму “площадки” Монблан. Питання для любителів та колекціонерів виробника Монблан: чи є 0,6 мм для пера розміру F звичайною практикою чи виключенням? Зауважу, що “озброєнним оком” я не виявив жодних ознак зносу наконечника, а вирівнювання половинок було ідеальним.

As I wrote above, the task was to reduce the line to actual European size F. Initially, the nib wrote with a normal line width of 0.6mm, the reverse side of the nib practically did not write and even rather scratched, but this is understandable due to the special shape of the Montblanc tip form. Question to fans and collectors of Montblanc: 0.6mm for an F-size nib is common practice or an exception? I must make a reservation right away that I did not find any problem with tip (wear or adjust) using a 10x loupe.

В решті, перо після переточки зараз дає лінію шириною близько 0.3 мм звичайною стороною та приблизно 0.2-0.25 мм зворотною стороною за умови меншого надходження чорнила (фірмову площадку Монблану довелося трошки згладити за згодою власника). Ковзання гладке з обох сторін, враховуючи їхню ширину, з наявністю звуку “шуршання”, не знаю, наскільки це характерно для МБ :).

After regrinding, the nib has a line width by right side of 0.3mm, and 0.2-0.25mm on the reverse side with a lower ink flow (I slightly smoothed the original Montblanc upward face on the tip with the owner’s consent). The sliding is smooth on both sides due to its size, the “rustling” sound remains.

У підсумку: дуже зручний та елегантний інструмент з сучасним, достатньо звичайним, але красивим пером. Той, хто не прагне до чогось незвичайного (наприклад, флексу), а лише потребує робочого, надійного “пісьменника” на кожен день з відповідним статусом, буде повністю задоволений роботою цим інструментом. Більше того, порівнявши з прямим конкурентом Pelikan, можна сказати, що в цьому інструменті є більш збалансоване подання чорнил, на відміну від обильного подання Pelikan. Ще один момент, на який хочеться звернути увагу, саме на цій, 147-й, моделі – це її абсолютна простота і, відповідно, надійність. Відсутність механічних систем (поршнів), присутність лише пластика (стакана і фідера) та золота (пера) повністю виключає вплив чорнил від часу, будь вони хоч кислотними, лужними, або будь-якими ще. Звичайно, не варто іспитувати долю і залишати пігментні чорнила на півроку у ручці (про туш, звичайно ж і мови нейде), але навіть у такому випадку саме цю систему набагато легше розібрати і промити у разі чого.

Отже, якось так.

Тим не менше, з іншого боку, вибачте мене, але я трохи не розумію формування цін на ринку. Щира правда, я зовсім не розумію, чому ця ручка може коштувати так багато, навіть з урахуванням того, що 30% від ціни становить її ім’я, на відміну від тієї ж 146-ї тут немає ніяких механічних конструкцій і рухомих деталей яки б ускладнили виробництво.

At the end: this is very comfortable and elegant instrument with a modern, rather ordinary, albeit beautiful nib. Whoever does not want something unusual (like a flex), but simply needs a working companion, reliable horse for every day with the luxulary status will be completely satisfied with the work of this pen. Moreover, by comparing it with a direct competitor, the same Pelikan, I can say that this feed system has a more balanced, because it have “normal” flow, which allows you to make both a thin and a juicy line in adjusting, in contrast to gold Pelikan’s owerflow initially. The second point to which I would like to draw your attention, specifically for this particular, 147, model, is its absolute simplicity and, as a consequence, reliability. The absence of mechanical systems (piston), the presence of only plastic (collar and feed) and gold (nib) completely excludes the influence of ink from time to time, be it even acidic/alkaline/at least some other. Of course, you should not tempt fate and leave the pigment ink in the pen for six months (of course, there is no talk about india ink), but even in this situation, it is this system that is much easier to disassemble and clean if something happens.

Something like that.

However, in addon, forgive me, I’m a little at a loss for retail pricing. To be honest, I do not at all understand what in this pen can cost so much, even taking into account the fact that its name is worth 30% of the price, unlike the same 146 model there are no mechanical and moving parts.

Montblanc Meisterstuck 147 Traveler LeGrand (made in Germany)

Немає сенсу знову описувати форму цього інструмента, про це вже сказано на початку поста.

На кільці кліпа присутня гравіювання серійного номера, але воно не лазерне, як зазначено вищче, а вочевидь, механічне – фрезою: MK1094488, і країни походження GERMANY. Проте на зворотній стороні кліпа відсутня позначка: Pix®.

The nib with feed mounted in collar on friction and then screwed into the grip. The feed is plastic, without a letter on the front cut and without a cut in the first section of lamellas.

Хвилинки історії:
З огляду на історію бренду можна сказати, що це дуже молода модель. На ФПН є короткий, але цікавий тред щодо дати випуску моделі 147 Traveler. Точної дати ніхто не знає, але є припущення, що модель з’явилася між 1994 і 1996 роками. У каталозі 1993 року цієї моделі ще немає, але в лютневому каталозі 1996 року ця модель вже присутня. Найцікавіший момент полягає в тому, що з появою Traveler розмір 146 збільшився на 3 мм у довжину :). Можливо, це міф, але колеги стверджують, що це була необхідність вмістити 2 картриджі у корпус, оскільки 146 і 147 моделі були частиною однієї лінійки Le Grand і повинні були мати однакові розміри. За поточних розмірів 146 це, мабуть, було неможливо здійснити. Тому, виходячи з того, що гравірування серійного номера механічне і при цьому відсутній логотип Pix® (який з’явився у другій половині 90-х, приблизно у 97-98 роках), можна припустити, що ця ручка з перших (ранніх) партій.

Minutes of history:
Taking into account the history of the brand, we can say that this is a very young model. I found short but interesting thread on FPN about the release date of the 147 Traveler. Nobody knows the exact date, but there is an assumption that the model appeared between 1994 and 1996. This model is not yet in the 1993 catalog, but this model is already present in the February 1996 catalog. And I found one more interesting thing is that with the advent of the Traveler, the size 146 was increased by 3mm in length :). Perhaps this is a myth, but colleagues argue that it was necessary to fit 2 cartridges into the body, since the 146 and 147 models were part of the same Le Grand line and had to be the same size. At the earlier size of 146, it seems like this was not feasible. Therefore, based on the fact that the engraving of the serial number is mechanical and there is no Pix® logo (which appeared in the second half of the 90s, presumably in 97-98), I can assume that this pen is from the first (early) batches of production.

Загальні розміри інструменту: довжина у складеному вигляді – 146 мм, 125 мм зі знятим ковпачком. Діаметр корпусу – 13.3мм, у місці хвату – 11мм. Вага (порожнього) інструменту – 23.9 г, а зі знятим ковпачком – 13.9 г. Інструмент був доставлений мені для обслуговування і після виконання робіт був протестований.

Overall dimensions: folded length – 146mm, 125mm without cap. Body diameter – 13.3mm, at the grip – 11mm. The weight (empty) of the tool is 23.9 g and without cap is 13.9 g.
The tool came to me for service and after end of work was tested.

Ширина лінії прямою стороною становить 0.6мм, при цьому натиск дозволяє збільшити лінію до 0.9-1.0мм. Лінія характерна для бренду Монблан – волога й насичена. Зворотня сторона відчутно підряпувала, але після полірування видає лінію шириною 0.4мм.

The line width by the right side is 0.6mm, while the pressure allows to increase the line up to 0.9-1.0mm. The line is characteristic for the Montblanc is wet and juicy. The reverse side was scratched, but after polishing it began writes smooth with line width is 0.4 mm.

В ітоговому підсумку: за розміром лінії можна припустити, що спочатку перо було позначене розміром М або навіть F. Лінія широка й волога, але це ніяк не впливає на те, що це відмінний, якісний інструмент з насиченою лінією і м’яким ковзанням, що чудово підійде керівникам для підписів на якісному папері. Однак для повсякденного та тонкого письма, можливо, доведеться звернутися до нібмайстра за налаштуванням :).

At the end: by the width of the line, it can be assumed that initially the pen was marked with a dimension of M or even F. The line is wide and wet, but this does not affect the fact that this is an excellent, high-quality tool, with a juicy line and smooth glide, so that it will perfectly suit executives for signatures on good paper. However, for everyday and thin writing, you will need to additionally contact the nibmaster for adjusting and grinding :).

В якості першого оновлення хочу показати фірмовий аксесуар, який постачається разом з ручкою тільки для цієї моделі – це шкіряний, досить жорсткий футляр для ручки та запасних картриджів, що повністю визначає назву набору – “Мандрівник”. Незважаючи на те, що у саму ручку, окрім робочого картриджа, можна помістити запасний, у футлярі є місце ще для 6 додаткових картриджів, по 3 з кожного боку.

As the first addon I would like to show the branded accessory included in the kit with fountain pen and only with this model – it is a leather, hard case for a pen and additional cartridges, which fully define the name of the set – “Traveler”. Despite the fact that in addition to the using cartridge, you can put an additional one to the tray, there is space in the case for 6 additional cartridges, 3 on each side.

В пошуках інформації про модель, натрапив на цікавий тред на ФПН, що стосується використання конвертера в лотку для картриджів. Там згадувалася можливість використання міні-конвертера Monteverde з використанням термоусаджувальної трубки. Мені ця ідея здається утопічною, оскільки стандартний картридж вже має менший об’єм, ніж резервуар моделі 146, і чому його треба ще зменшувати міні-конвертером. Однак один з учасників форуму зазначив, що він використовує ручку лише для підписів, і його картриджі висихають швидше, ніж він їх витрачає. Тож заради цікавості я також вирішив поекспериментувати. Міні-конвертера Monteverde під рукою не було, але був конвертер KaWeCo mini міжнародного стандарту. Після установки цього конвертера виявилося, що залишається ще багато місця до упору в лотку, при цьому конвертер звичайно не фіксується. Поглянувши навколо на стіл:) мій погляд впав на шприц, яким я заправляю картриджі, точніше, навіть не на сам шприц, а на ковпачок від голки. Здавалося, що він ідеально підходить як компенсуюча втулка, навіть необхідні виміри вже зроблені технологією у вигляді ребер жорсткості.

In search of information about this model, I came across another interesting thread on FPN, namely, the possibility of using a converter in the cartridge tray. In the thred, there was a mention of a mini converter of the Monteverde using a shrinkable pipe. The idea itself seems utopian to me because the standard cartridge is much smaller than the tank volume of the 146 piston-filler model, so why reduce it even further with a mini converter?. However, there was the opinion of a one FPNers who uses a pen only for signatures and his cartridges empties is very very slowly, the nib dry out faster than he writes them. In general, for the sake of interest, I also decided to experiment on this topic. I didn’t have a Monteverde mini-converter at hand, but I did have an international KaWeCo mini converter. After installing this converter in tray, it turned out that there was still a lot of space left until the stop and converter was not fixed. Having looked around everything on the table 🙂 my gaze fell on the syringe with which I fill the cartridges, or rather, not even on the syringe itself, but on the needle cap. As it seemed, it is ideal as a compensating collar, even the necessary measurements have already been made by the technologist in the form of stiffening ribs.

Якщо відокремити ці ребра жорсткості безпосередньо за “юбкою”, то втулка по довжині ідеально доповнює конвертер KaWeCo до розміру стандартного картриджа International. Єдине, головка поршня заходить дуже щільно, її діаметр 5мм. Якщо взяти свердло 5мм і нагріти його задню частину над запальничкою, а потім вставити в відокремлену втулку від ковпачка голки, діаметр отвору трохи розшириться, і цього вистачить, щоб ручка проходила вільно. If you cut along this stiffener just behind the “skirt”, then this collar ideally complements the length of the KaWeCo converter to the size of the standard International cartridge. The only one moment, the piston head fits very tightly, its diameter is 5mm. But if you take a 5mm drill and heat its back over the lighter, and then insert it into the cut-off collar, the hole diameter will expand slightly and this is enough for the head to pass freely. But if you want to be 100% confident, you can use not typical 5.1 or 5.2mm drill.

Не можу сказати, що встиг багато розглянути ручок за час свого захоплення, думаю, не більше 300-400, і бачив дуже різноманітні: і нові, і виняткові, із засохлими чорнилами, пом’яті, поцарапані, зігнуті, розтріскані, із ржавчиною, але з пліснявою – визнаюсь, вперше бачу. Це ж як повинна була не сподобатися ручка?

I can’t say that I saw a large number of pens during my hobby, I think no more than 300-400, but I saw very different: both new and vintage, NOS and with dried ink, rumpled, scratched, bent, cracked, with rust, but with mold(fungus) – I confess I see for the first time. Well, how should you not like the pen?

Traditional place for sketching. And since I had already drawn all my theme with Mont Blanc, I decided to take another European peak – the Matterhorn from the extended region of Monte Rosa, the Pennine Alps. This is one of the highest peaks in Europe, which was conquered by one of the most recent – in 1865.

The Matterhorn is a mountain of the Alps, straddling the main watershed and border between Switzerland and Italy. It is a large, near-symmetric pyramidal peak in the extended Monte Rosa area of the Pennine Alps, whose summit is 4,478 metres (14,692 ft) high, making it one of the highest summits in the Alps and Europe.[note 3] The four steep faces, rising above the surrounding glaciers, face the four compass points and are split by the Hörnli, Furggen, Leone/Lion, and Zmutt ridges. The mountain overlooks the Swiss town of Zermatt, in the canton of Valais, to the north-east and the Italian town of Breuil-Cervinia in the Aosta Valley to the south. Just east of the Matterhorn is Theodul Pass, the main passage between the two valleys on its north and south sides, and a trade route since the Roman Era.
The Matterhorn was studied by Horace-Bénédict de Saussure in the late eighteenth century, who was followed by other renowned naturalists and artists, such as John Ruskin, in the 19th century. It remained unclimbed after most of the other great Alpine peaks had been attained and became the subject of an international competition for the summit. The first ascent of the Matterhorn was in 1865 from Zermatt by a party led by Edward Whymper; it ended when four of its seven members fell to their deaths on the descent. This disaster, later portrayed in several films, marked the end of the golden age of alpinism.

Його здійснила група Едуарда Уімпера, до якої входили також альпіністи Френсіс Дуглас, Дуглас Роберт Хедоу, Чарльз Хадсон і гірські провідники Мішель Кро, Петер Таугвальдер (батько) та Петер Таугвальдер (син). Група зуміла піднятися на вершину з боку Швейцарії через гребінь Хернлі. Четверо членів групи (Кро, Хедоу, Хадсон і Дуглас) загинули при спуску внаслідок обриву каната. Три дні пізніше, 17 липня 1865 року, Жан-Антуан Каррель і Жан-Батист Бік зуміли піднятися на вершину Маттерхорна з італійського боку через гребінь Ліон. Покорення Маттерхорна узначало завершення “золотого віку альпінізму”.

Неординарний порятунок для 147 за несприятливих обставин.

Extraordinary saving the 147 under adverse circumstances.

Montblanc Meisterstuck 147 Traveler LeGrand (made in Germany)

Надіслали мені 147 який не подає чорнил. Зняв картридж, спробував “продуди” – повітря не проходить. 2 дні відмочування у воді, 5 циклів в ультразвуковій ванні із підігрівом аж ніяк не вирішили проблему. Довелось виймати фідер механічно, але чорнила так міцно тримали фідер у стакані, що без ушкоджень розібрати не вдалось.

Received a 147 that doesn’t flow ink(clogged). I removed the cartridge, tried “blowing” it – no air came through. 2 days of soaking in water, 5 cycles in an ultrasonic bath with heating did not solve the problem at all. I had to remove the feed mechanically with strong effort, but the ink held the feed so tightly in the collar that it was impossible to disassemble without damage.

Перш за все зв’язався із сервісом Монблан, але, на жаль, виявилось що фідерів для цієї моделі нема і за наших обставин замовити зараз немає можливості. На вторинному ринку знайти оригінальний фідер до 147 моделі вкрай важко, тож я бачив два шляхи для порятунку: виточити новий фідер із ебоніту або підібрати із сучасних які можна придбати. Через те що хвостик дуже тонкий для стандарту International занадто тонкий(1.6 мм), а ебоніт занадто крихкий, я вирішив пійти шляхом підбору із існуючих.

First of all, I contacted the Montblanc offservice, but, unfortunately, it turned out that there are unavailable feeds to 147 and in our circumstances it is impossible to order one now. So, It is extremely difficult to find an original 147 feed as part on the secondary market, so I saw two ways to save: turning a new one from ebonite or to use one from modern available to purchase. Due to the fact that the tail is very thin for the International standard (1.6 mm), and ebonite is too fragile, I decided to go the way of selecting from existing ones.

Взяв фідер схожий за розміром від пера 6 розміру, але виявилось що оригінальний фідер має діаметр 6.5 мм, тож я вирішив зробити новий коллар. Витратив купу часу експериментуючи та підбирая необхідні розміри. Тому що різниця в 0.05 мм має значення.

I took a feed similar size to a #6 nib, but it turned out that the original feed has a diameter of 6.5 mm, so I decided to make a new collar. I spent a lot of time experimenting and choosing the necessary sizes. Because a difference of 0.05 mm is had matters.

Зробив та пошкодив декілька колларів та фідерів також, але врешті знайшов рятувальну формулу))

Ручка виглядає як оригінальна, тільки фідер не схожий. Звісно оригінальний колар я відчистив від чорнил, та при нагоді отримання оригінального фідера можна все повернути на свої місця.

The pen looks like the original, only feed is different. Of course, I cleaned the original collar of ink, so, if find the original feed, it can possibly turn everything back as was.

Після цього протестував роботу різним чорнилом, жодних проблем не виявив. Нова система працює на відмінно.

Ширина лінії прямою стороною становить 0.5 мм, при цьому натиск дозволяє збільшити лінію до 0.9 мм. Лінія характерна для бренду Монблан – волога й насичена. Зворотня сторона була мною підправлена та видає лінію шириною 0.4 мм. Чорнило вінтажний Waterman’s Luminous Blue.

After that, I tested the work with different inks and found no problems. The new system works perfectly.

The line width by the right side is 0.5 mm, while the pressure allows to increase the line up to 0.9 mm. The line is characteristic for the Montblanc is wet and juicy. The reverse side was ф дшеедк зщдшірув ин ьу фтв writes smooth with line width is 0.4 mm. Ink: vtg. Waterman’s Luminous Blue.

Оригінальне чорнило Montblanc Mystery Black в картриджах. Давно дивився на німецький шрифт Sutterlin, але все ніяк не доходили руки, щоб спробувати його. Трохи модифікував змінивши деякі літери, бо для мене вони виглядають зовсім алогічними та не читабельними (e, r, y, v, w та C). Також є питання до h та s, ал їх вирішив залишити оригінальними.

For this test use original Montblanc Mistery Black ink in cartridges. I’ve been looking at the German font Sutterlin for a long time, but I never found enough time to try it. So,I modified it a bit by changing some of the letters, because to me they look completely illogical and unreadable (e, r, y, v, w and C). I have also questions to h and s, but I decided to leave them original.

I think of my drawing style like handwriting: it’s a mix of whatever handwriting you’re born with, plus bits and pieces you’ve pilfered from other people around you.

Мав проблему з одним 147 у якого відчувалась нестабільна подача чорнил до пера. Тобто ручка працює, а потім в якийсь момент зупиняється і через декілька секунд знову починає писати. Жодна із дій як промивка та прочистка, чи коректировка фідера не приводила до вирішення проблеми. У мене склалось враження що повітря не поступає у картридж через що у картриджі утворюється розпряження яке зупиняє/притримує подачу чорнил. В решті решт я вирішив зробити ебонітовий фідер, оскільки оригінальних 147 фідерів у місцевому оф-сервісі нема, а на вторинному ринку вони дуже рідкісна знахідка.

I had a problem with one 147, which felt unstable ink flow to the nib. That is, the pen works, and then at some point it stops and after a few seconds it starts writing again. None of the actions such as flushing, cleaning or adjusting the feed led to resolve this problem. I assume that air does not enter to the cartridge, which is why a vacuum is formed in the cartridge that stops/holds the ink flow. At the end, I decided to make an ebonite feed, because there are no original 147 feeds in the local MB-service, and they are a very rare find on the secondary market.

Зазвичай я уникаю робити ебонітові фідери під International стандарт, тому що кінчики які занурюються у картриджі дуже тонкі (1.60-1.65 мм), а ебоніт доволі крихкий коли він тонкий.

I usually refuse to make ebonite feeders to the International standard, because the tips that are immersed in the cartridges are very thin (1.60-1.65 mm), and ebonite is quite fragile when it is thin.

Але головна складність полягає не в виточенні тонкого хвостика, а у створенні чорнильного та повітряного каналів у цьому крихкому кінчику. Для цього я створив персональний холдер під лещата.

But the main difficulty not in turning the thin tail, but in creating ink and air channels in this fragile tin tail. To do this, I created a personal holder to clamp.

Після вдалої ідеї із підтримкою, я зробив спеціальні тримачі для більш зручного створення форми у стилі вінтажних або Montblanc Sky Slope.

After a successful idea with support holder, I made special holders to more conveniently create a shape in vintage style or vintage Montblanc Sky Slope shape.

То ж, в решті це виглядає ось так. Можна було б додати лижну колію як на вінтажних фідерах Montblanc із 40х-50х, але я не забажав витрачати зайвий час на це:)).

Well, at the rest it looks like this. Of course, I could add a ski track like on vintage Montblanc feeds from the 40s-50s, but I didn’t want to waste any extra time on that :)).
