In words, I can say that Montblanc has the purest(clearest) and most saturated shade of dark red and it is really a Bordeaux. Sailor’s Maroon is a little faded and have blue (raspberry) notes, so it is colder. Pilot’s Dark Red is the darkest among them, haven’t blue notes, but instead it has notes of orange, which makes it perceived as terracotta (red-brown). Sailor Profit Casual Maroon is noticeably lighter than Sailor ProGear Realo Maroon. This is, of course, when they are all put near, side by side, because individually they all have a pleasant dark red color.
